INDY LABORFEST

Please note Indy LaborFest has been cancelled this year. Join the Central Indiana AFL-CIO on Sunday evening, September 3, 2023, as we salute workers and the Labor Movement in Central Indiana. We’ll gather at SPARK, the innovative park recently opened on Monument Circle. There are game tables like ping pong and Foosball, Corn hole, casual seating, and a bandstand. There are also food vendors providing refreshments.

At around 9:00 PM, the video show “Shining A Light” (SAL) will begin. SAL was introduced several years ago as a tribute to our troops. Downtown Indy then opened it up to Local organizations to showcase their work. We’ve been honoring workers through the video across downtown architecture for the last 4 years.

This year’s voices of Labor are provided by Dominic Collins, IBEW L 481 and Kim Patrick, Insulators L 18, and newly elected President of the Central Indiana AFL-CIO. Feel free to bring portable folding chairs.
